Manage Camera Colour - Technical and Look LUTs

The new Camera Settings options within LightSpace CMS enable the generation, previewing, and analysis of Look and Technical Conversion LUTs for a range of digital cinematography cameras, specifically those that shoot and capture Log and Wide Colour Gamut.

As well as technically accurate LUTs, LightSpace CMS enables the generation of aesthetically pleasing Look LUTs via the application of Tone Mapping.

The use of the technical LUT generation capabilities enables the relative (direct) comparison of different cameras, comparing the different gamma, contrast range, gamut coverage and colour mapping each camera natively possesses.

LightSpace Connect - Android/iOS App

LightSpace Connect is an Android and iOS App that enables the generation of calibration patches for the measurement and profiling of any Android or Apple mobile phone or tablet screen, as well as any TV or other display/monitor through the use of Screen Mirroring, MHL Cable, AirPlay, Apple Digital AV Adaptor, etc.

The App runs on Android and Apple mobile phones, Firestick, Chromecast, AppleTV, etc.

As LightSpace Connect is controlled directly by LightSpace CMS it can generate any required colour patches, either as a managed sequence for automated profiling, or manually selected for manual display calibration adjustment.

LightSpace Connect can be used with LightSpace DPS, the free license version of LightSpace CMS, enabling verification of any screen parameters on any connected device, with report generation providing a record of the screen's capabilities.

LightSpace Connect is a MUST for anyone interested in accurate calibration - professional or home user!

ACES CLF/CTF

ACES CLF/CTF capability within the 'Edit' menu of LightSpace enables the import and export of any .clf/.ctf (ACES based or otherwise) files, as well as the conversion of LUTs held within LightSpace into .clf/.ctf files.
Note: the .ctf format is an Autodesk variation of the ACES .clf format.

Trade-Up to Professional Calibration

The Light Illusion Trade-up deal for users unhappy with the results they are getting from alternate calibration systems has become extremely popular, with an unprecedented number of users choosing to Trading-up from their existing calibration systems.

New SpaceMan ICC version released: v1.0.57

A new version of SpaceMan ICC has been released, with the addition of Abobe RGB to the available colour spaces used when loading a 3D LUT for conversion into an ICC profile.

Additional user information has been added to the SpaceMan ICC User Guide.
