Your BMD UltraStudio Monitor 3G card can output up to 1080p60 RGB 10-bit reference HDMI signal from Resolve.

If you need 2160p30 RGB 10-bit, you will need the BMD DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K into a Sonnet Echo Express SE I Thunderbolt 3 to Full-Height/Half-Length PCIe Card Expansion System.

Right. 1080p will have to do for now. Also, I have a Mac Mini. Cannot add anything directly to the computer itself, must be external.

Steve, you said that the laptop would connect to Resolve via the network, but Resolve is installed directly on my Mac Mini. Will that make a difference?

If you are not using a separate PC, then you don't need a network connection.

Then you connect the two via your network.

In the process of calibration. We're trying to find the option to change target gamma. Is this possible? My room environment is 2.2.

In the Manage Spaces window, select the Rec 709 preset color space and select "modify". Change the target gamma to 2.2 and save using a name that's easily identifiable. It will be saved in Color Spaces (user). Select the customized user color space as your Target Gamut / EOTF under "Settings" in your Profiling window.

Thank you! Next question: is it possible to switch luts on and off on the LG C4 TV on the TV itself? or can it only be done with the ColourSpace software?

Okay, running into an issue. After uploading the 3D LUT it makes no visible change to the image and the profiling charts stay the same from results prior to uploading the LUT. Also, when we profiled the display with "active LUT" set, we did see the new results. When we profiled after uploading the LUT, we have "active LUT" set to "none" under settings.

Upload a UNITY Black and White 3D LUT to see if your picture will become black/white (grayscale):

Gotcha. Thanks.

If the LUT does not load, what troubleshooting options do I have?

Also, are there any common problems/oversights that could cause the LUT to not correct the gamut to Rec 709 as is specified, thus leaving it in the wide native gamut?

Has the black and white LUT been uploaded?

Sometimes The LG TVs are not including the LUT into the video pipeline, you have to close the TV and remove the power cable for some seconds to fix that.
